I see the ground swell, the loud sky
And I see charmed birds waiting
I see the road burgeoning
The sun scaling
I hear the dogs grind and the blood drooling
My land is red
My wires cloaked
As above so below thrones
Dawn no hope for us

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
Across their second full-length, the London post-punks offer up thrumming motoriks, industrial tones, and sullen sing-a-longs in abundance. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 17, 2024
